Mr. Muhammad Shahid Hasan established Reliance Commercial Associates (RCA) as a sole proprietorship on 23rd August 1973. In the initial years, the organization’s main focus was on advanced air conditioning processes from Germany, including the planning, design, and implementation of central air conditioning projects for the textile and chemical fiber industries up to the magnitude of 1500 tonne size. For Trane and Krantz TKT Germany (currently known as Caverion) becoming approved members. The business offered turnkey project solutions including engineering, construction, planning, system/equipment, implementation, start-up, and after-sales services.

In 1980 RCA diversified into the area of Aviation, concentrating on marketing and business growth, by the year 1985 it had well developed a name in the aviation industry with European and American manufacturers in its portfolio and its presence within the Pakistan consumer market.

The business approach was updated on 1 January 1986, as the air-conditioning market had many new competitors in the market causing high competition and high labor intensity that closed the air-conditioning segment, this allowed more emphasis on the aviation sector.

Over the past four decades, RCA has built its name on the local and global markets and is affiliated with Pakistan’s leading suppliers. Avio Interiors was represented by RCA and also created a healthy business in India and Bangladesh. It currently has more than 30 business partners in its portfolio covering a broad variety of goods (provided more in the company profile); the commercial aviation field is the area of expertise RCA in Pakistan.
